Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Sunderland player Jude Bellingham, was named the best young player in the Championship, England’s second tier.
“I am so grateful to win this award. It has been a great season and I have tried to learn from my team-mates and do my best,” Jobe Bellingham said at the ceremony.
“He is still a young player but now that he has passed the 100-game mark in the EFL, he has developed great consistency this season,” the English Football League (EFL) wrote on social media.
