Karim Benzema has continued to enjoy life in Saudi Arabia by making a mega-money purchase of a brand-new luxury automobile worth £138,000.
One of the best strikers of his time, Benzema, 37, made 648 appearances for Real Madrid and scored 354 goals.
He did, however, trade the Bernabeu for the Middle East in 2023, agreeing to a three-year contract worth £258 million with Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League (SPL).
Benzema has flourished this season after a sluggish start to life in Saudi Arabia, scoring 21 goals in 28 SPL games to help Al-Ittihad win the championship.
Throughout his career, the Frenchman has consistently demonstrated a love for automobiles and has acquired a number of expensive cars.
Among them is the Bugatti Chiron, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 miles per hour in under 2.5 seconds and boasts an impressive 1,500 horsepower.
Photos of Benzema’s three other supercars—a Lamborghini Revuelto, a Ferrari Purosangue, and a sleek Rolls-Royce Spectre plug-in hybrid—are frequently shown on his social media platforms.
However, a BMW M5 has now arrived for the 37-year-old’s garage.
It is nonetheless called a ‘everyday supercar’ even though it is a sedan and so less opulent than the other three.
The M5’s twin-turbo V8 engine is strong and capable of reaching very high speeds.
The M5 is still a luxury automobile that is incredibly versatile, even though it is more of a family car in terms of capacity.
With 725 horsepower, it can reach speeds of 189.5 mph and accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in 3.5 seconds.
The M5 costs £138,000, but since Benzema makes £86 million a year, which is over £230,000 a day, he still has an incredible £92,000 left over from his daily pay.
In the meantime, Benzema leads Al-Ittihad, who defeated Al-Raed 3-1 on Thursday to clinch the championship.
N’Golo Kante, Fabinho, Moussa Diaby, and Steven Bergwijn are among the players in Al-Ittihad’s roster, which is led by former France manager Laurent Blanc.
In addition to playing Al-Qadsiah in the King’s Cup final later this month, the Saudi team has two more league games left to complete their campaign.
